Building Details:

Built in the mid-1920s, the Depot Building is a long and narrow wood and brick building that was originally a freight office for Grand Trunk Western Railroad. The visually interesting building pays tribute to Kalamazoo’s agricultural and industrial past. The project will maintain the integrity of the existing brick and wood building, but will shore up the structural integrity and add square footage. Many of the original features will be retained, including flooring, hardware materials. The project is planned to include a new enclosed deck area along the western wall of the building, enhanced parking and landscaping. The project is expected to be complete in Summer of 2016. Dedicated office space is still available for lease.
