Utica is located in north central Illinois, approximately 80 miles southwest of Chicago. The population is over 111,333 in La Salle County. Utica draws business from surrounding towns as well as Interstate 80. Major roads include interstate I-80, Route 6 & 71. Starved Rock State Park is a major attraction with over 1 million visitors per year. The park has hiking, picnic, boating, and cabin rentals. The main access to the state park uses Route 178 driving past the site. The 9.89 acre site is located on the west side of 178 one half mile south of I-80 adjacent to the Shell gas station.
