The Hollywood Park Casino opened in 1994 and was previously home to the Los Angeles Lakers and the Hollywood Park Racetrack. By fall 2016, the 110,000-square-foot Hollywood Park Casino will be roughly 40% larger, will hold 35 more gaming tables and will include a new restaurant and sports bar. The new 300-acre, mixed-use Hollywood Park project will
include the stadium, shops, hotels, homes and two lakes.

The Crenshaw / LAX Transit Corridor is the connector between the Metro Expo line and the Metro Green Line. This line is currently under construction and runs from West Adams to Leimert Park to Baldwin Hills to Hyde Park to Inglewood and all the way through to LAX Airport. Construction on Crenshaw / LAX Metro line began in 2014 and achieved its halfway-finished point in May 2016. This $2.058 billion project will travel approximately 8.5 miles and will allow riders to make easy connections within the entire Metro Rail System. This Crenshaw / LAX Transit Corridor’s completion is scheduled for 2018.
