San Joaquin Valley College as a vocational education center. The building contains 4,728 square feet of gross building area and spans nearly the entire site. Exterior walls are constructed of brick masonry materials that have been reinforced with steel columns, and they have painted or stucco finishes. The walls on the east and west sides are party walls that are shared with the adjoining properties. The roof covering the building has a gable-style design and it is supported on wood trusses and finished with a composition built-up material cover. Access to the building is provided by a glass storefront style entry door at the front of the building along with hollow metal doors with painted finishes on the rear and east side. Glass storefront display windows are installed across the building's front elevation as well. A canopy extends outward from the front wall of the building to provide a covered entry at the front entrance along Seventh Street. The building's floor plan includes a waiting room, a reception office, three private offices, an assessment room, three classrooms, a shared faculty office, a storage closet, an electrical closet, and two restrooms. Floors are finished with a combination of carpet tiles, vinyl composition tile, ceramic tile, and sheet vinyl flooring materials. The two restrooms are outfitted with a total of four toilets, two urinals, and four sinks, with additional sinks installed in one of the classrooms as well. There is a concrete paved area at the northeast corner of the parcel near the building's front entrance that provides paved access to the facility. There are no on-site parking spaces, but to the south across the alley is a public parking lot that offers 51 spaces.
