330 Townsend Street, originally built in the 1920s as a brick-and-timber meat packing warehouse, now attracts small business of all stripes, from public relations firms to small software start-ups. The old warehouse was converted to an office building in 1984 and, in the late 1990s, saw further upgrades such as lobby upgrades, seismic strengthening and ADA compliance work. The two-story project resides across the street from CalTrain's San Francisco depot in the middle of San Francisco's thriving SoMa neighborhood.
