Another Positive for Green Building

Posted by BldngExprt    10.13.2008 01:33 PM

Just read a great article from the Boston Business Journal about Green building and how the corporate sector is beginning to embrace it.    The article stated: "Corporations across sectors understand and are pursuing the many benefits of more sustainable buildings. Industry-leading companies including Adobe, Bank of America, Equity Office, GE, and JPMorgan are pursuing more sustainable real estate. Corporate tenants, the ultimate buyers in the commercial real estate industry, have led in the embrace of what has become “Class G” (Class Green) office space."  Who knows what the reason is why these companies are finally embracing the "green building" mentality, but either way it doesn't matter.  What matters is that they are doing it and by doing it, they will encourage others to do the same.  Definitely a good read.
