812 Gravier St is an office property for lease in New Orleans, LA.
Hibernia Bank Building, located at 812 Gravier Street, in the Central Business District of New Orleans, is a 23-story, 355 feet tall mixed use tower. Previously the headquarters of Hibernia National Bank, at the time it was completed in 1921, it was the tallest building in the state of Louisiana. In 1932, the state capitol took that title.
In 2006, Hibernia Bank moved its offices, the retail bank in the lobby (now Capital One) remains in in service. The property has since been converted to a mixed use historic tower with retail on the ground floor and office space on floors two through three.
The white tower atop the building remains a familiar part of the skyline. It once served as a navigational beacon for ships on the Mississippi River.
