Pretty nice building with a nice lobby/ entryway and meticulous grounds. I'd say the building has 3 major problems. 1) In case you didn't already know South San Francisco is a wind tunnel and even on those rare scorching hot days in SF it feels like Anarctica in South City. There is no pt. in using an umbrella if its raining b/c it will break in 2 sec. 2) The cafe owner in the building is kinda crazy. He publicly fired his best friend and best employee during a lunch crowd one day and my entire floor has boycotted his cafe ever since. Specialities is across the st. and there is good dim sum, crepes and sandwiches on Grand st. so food isn't a problem. 3) Genetic takes up most of the parking and only a few permits are given out per floor. There is a lot to park in adjacent to the building but its a little walk. Overall a nice building if you can deal with wind, a crazy cafe owner and an annoying parking situation! | 07.07.2008 10:41 AM |
